Transparent Disclosures Written in Plain English
We believe legal terms should protect everyday consumers, not confuse them. Below you will find our official policies paired with simple, senior-friendly summaries so you always understand your rights.
1. Consumer Privacy Notice & California Rights (CCPA / GLBA)
Firstwick Bank, N.A. complies with the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA). This notice explains how we collect, use, protect, and handle your Non-Public Personal Information (NPI).
What We Collect: When you open an account or apply for lending, we collect identification details (Name, Address, Date of Birth, Social Security Number or ITIN), contact information (Telephone Number, Email Address), and financial transaction history.
How We Share: We only share information with essential service providers necessary to process your transactions (e.g., the Federal Reserve ACH network, ATM interchange networks, and fraud-prevention bureaus). You have the right to request access to or deletion of non-essential personal information by contacting our privacy officer at privacy@firstwick.com.
2. Terms of Account & Deposit Agreement
This Deposit Account Agreement establishes the contract between you (the account holder) and Firstwick Bank, N.A. By opening or maintaining an Everyday Checking, High-Yield Savings, or Certificate of Deposit account, you agree to these terms.
Funds Availability (Regulation CC): Direct deposits and electronic bank transfers are generally available the same business day they are received. Checks deposited via mobile app or at our branches are typically made available within one business day, subject to standard hold exceptions for checks over $5,525.
Overdraft Policy: We do not charge overdraft fees. If an authorized charge temporarily brings your available balance below zero, Firstwick's complimentary Grace Cushion covers items up to $100 without fee or interest. If an item cannot be paid, it is simply returned unpaid with $0 penalty.
3. Electronic Fund Transfers Disclosures (Regulation E)
Federal Regulation E protects consumers who utilize electronic banking services, including debit card purchases, online transfers, direct deposits, bill pay, and automated teller machine (ATM) withdrawals.
Dispute Rights & Error Resolution: If you believe your statement or receipt contains an error or unauthorized electronic fund transfer, notify us immediately by telephone at 1-800-347-7894 or in writing. When reported within sixty (60) days of statement delivery, Firstwick provides immediate provisional credit to your account while the inquiry is resolved.
Transfer Limits: For your security, debit card purchases are subject to a daily authorization limit of $5,000, and ATM cash withdrawals are subject to a daily limit of $1,000. These limits can be temporarily raised anytime by calling our support concierge.
